SAMSONOWA & Partners organized online training for EMBA students at the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg State University. The program was dedicated to technological innovation management and included lectures by expert practitioners from Germany. Dr. Tatjana Samsonowa explained the processes of R&D management in SAP. Dr. Sebastian Denef presented the design thinking methodology and provided an example of creating digital solutions for firefighters in Germany. Dr. Joachim Schaper shared the case of creating autonomous cars at Porsche Engineering.
After the 4 days of active work, the students learned on the practical level how to use the tools of design thinking and technology transfer. 4 teams have developed concepts of digital assistants for their organizations: one helps the captain to lead an Arctic vessel, another prepares internal corporate presentations, the third one guarantees high-quality maintenance of portal cranes, and the fourth monitors the prices of the resources and the finished products.
